TERMS OF SERVICE

 

  GENERAL PROVISIONS  
  1. PVL Experts Meeting, hereinafter referred to as the “Event”, is held on 6 September 2024 in Katowice.
  2. The Organizer of the Event is Business Service GALOP Krystyna Gołąbek, Katowice, 7/XIV Ordona St., NIP number: 634-013-00-06, REGON number: 278281124; phone number: 32 253 00 69, e-mail address: biuro@kongresy.com.pl, hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”.The provisions of these Regulations are an integral part of the Event Participation Application and apply to all Participants.

  PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION  
  1. The condition for participation in the Event is:
    1. application for participation in the Event only through the application form available on the Event website, understood as the correct completion of all required fields included in the form.
    2. paying of the fee in the manner stated on the Event website,
    3. the title of the transfer should indicate the name, surname and individual code of the participant indicated in the Initial Registration Confirmation.
  2. A successful application is completed with a message displayed on the website automatically after filling out the form and an analogous message sent to the email address provided during the registration process (Initial Registration Confirmation).
  3. If there is no message, complete the form once again or contact the Organizer at: biuro@kongresy.com.pl.
  4. The message about the correct completion of the form is not the Final Confirmation of Participation in the Event.
  5. Once the payment has been posted, the Participant will receive a Final Confirmation of Participation from the Organizer, entitling the Participant to participate in the Event.
  6. The Final Confirmation of Participation is sent to Participants to the email address provided during registration a maximum of 7 days before the start of the Event.
  7. In the case of later registration, the Participant will receive the Final Confirmation of Participation within 2 days after the payment is posted.
  8. The Organizer has the right not to allow the Participant to participate in the Event if he/she does not have the Registration Confirmation or if he/she does not meet the requirements of the registration group selected in the registration form.

 

  PAYMENT TERMS AND INVOICES  
  1. Prices and terms of payment for Participation in the Event are posted on the Event website.
  2. The Organizer will issue an invoice for participation in the Event by the last day of the month in which the payment has been posted to the account provided during the registration process and it will be sent electronically to the email address provided during the registration process or by post to the address provided during the registration process.
  3. The VAT invoice will be issued in accordance with applicable tax regulations and will include a 23% VAT rate.
  4. The VAT invoice for participation in the Event will be issued on the basis of the data indicated by the ordering parties in the electronic form, in the section “Invoice data”.
  5. If the Participant selects an invoice to an individual buyer (natural person), the payment is registered immediately at the cash register.
  6. Any correction of invoices is possible only at the written, reasoned request of the buyer for whom the invoice was issued.
  7. Changes in the type of buyer are not allowed.
  8. The Organizer may issue a pro-forma invoice at the request of the Participant sent to the email address: biuro@kongresy.com.pl

 

  CANCELLATION TERMS  
  1. Participant may cancel participation in the Event only by email to: biuro@kongresy.com.pl.
  2. In case of cancellation of participation, the Participant is entitled to a refund:
    • when the Organizer receives a statement of cancellation by 31.07.2024 has the right to retain 50% of the total fee.
    • in case the Organizer receives a statement of cancellation after 31.07.2024, the Organizer has the right to retain the entire payment received.
  3. The organizer of the Event reserves the right to change speakers and changes in the program for reasons beyond its control. The participant is not entitled to a refund of the fee in such a case.
  4. In the event of a refund of all or part of the registration fee by the Organizer, the Organizer has 60 days to make the refund counting from the date of delivery of the correction invoice signed by the Participant to the Organizer’s email address.

 

  COMPLAINTS  
  1. All complaints of Participants against the Organizer should be submitted electronically to the address: biuro@kongresy.com.pl.
  2. Complaints of Event Participants may be submitted no later than 14 days after the end of the relevant Event.
  3. No complaints will be considered after the above deadlines.

 

  FINAL PROVISIONS  
  1. In the event that the Event does not take place due to reasons dependent on the Organizer, the Organizer shall immediately refund the amounts paid by the Participants to the bank accounts indicated by them.
  2. In the event that the Event does not take place due to reasons beyond the control of the Organizer, the Participant shall not be entitled to compensation or to reimbursement of any fees related to participation in the Event, as well as the cost of additional services contracted to the Organizer by the Participants of the Event.
  3. The Organizer may change the date and place of the Event without giving any reason.
  4. Any disputes that may arise from the Participation in the Event shall be settled by the Court having jurisdiction over the seat of the Organizer.
  5. Sending the registration application from the Event website, implies acceptance of the provisions of these Regulations, as well as compliance with the rules of order and any other arrangements made between the Participant and the Organizer.
  6. The participant of the Event agrees to the following free of charge: (a) recording, use and dissemination of his/her image and voice recorded by the Organizer during the Event proceedings in the reporting material documenting the course of the Event. The work developed using the image and voice may be used and distributed by the Organizer in all fields of exploitation specified in Article 50 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights, in particular in all (regardless of the form) reporting materials, as well as by posting these materials in any media (Internet, press, radio, television, leaflets, etc. ), fixation and reproduction by any technique, including magnetic recording, optical, printing, reprographic, digital, public performance or public reproduction, at any open and closed events, exhibition, display, rental, lending, broadcasting and rebroadcasting. Consent is irrevocable and is not territorially limited.
  7. During the Event, the Participant is required to comply with the internal regulations of the Event facility.
  8. In matters not covered by these Regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
  9. The Personal Data Protection Act (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1000 of May 10, 2018) and the provisions of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (RODO) will apply to the participant’s personal data provided in the application form.
  10. The Organizer is not responsible for Participants’ belongings that may be lost, damaged or stolen during the Event.
  11. Participants bear full financial responsibility for the damage they cause.
